1. INTRODUCTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between PaperPlugg ("we," "us," "our," or "PaperPlugg") and you, the user of our receipt generator service ("Service"). By accessing, registering for, or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not access or use our Service.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. These Terms include important information about your legal rights, remedies, and obligations. By using our Service, you are entering into a binding contract with PaperPlugg. Your continued use of our Service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.

BY CHECKING THE BOX INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS, CLICKING "I AGREE," COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE USING OUR SERVICE, YOU AFFIRM THAT:

• You have read and understand these Terms;
• You are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; and
• You agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY

PaperPlugg is designed and provided SOLELY FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES. The Service is intended to help users understand how receipts are structured, formatted, and what information they typically contain. Our receipt templates and generation functionality are provided exclusively for educational and demonstration purposes.

You explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

• All receipts generated through our Service are for educational and informational purposes only;
• Generated receipts are NOT official transaction records or legitimate proof of purchase;
• Generated receipts should NOT be presented to any merchant, business, or individual as evidence of an actual transaction;
• Generated receipts should NOT be used for tax filing, insurance claims, warranty services, returns, or any other purpose requiring legitimate transaction documentation;
• All generated receipts will contain visible watermarks indicating "FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY";
• PaperPlugg does not encourage, support, or condone fraudulent or deceptive use of our Service; and
• You bear sole and complete responsibility for how you use the educational content generated through our Service.

3. USER RESPONSIBILITY AND CONDUCT

3.1 User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all actions taken using our Service and with the receipts generated through our Service. You agree to use our Service responsibly and for legitimate educational purposes only.

3.2 Prohibited Conduct

In connection with your use of our Service, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any fraudulent, deceptive, illegal, or unethical purpose;
• Use any receipt generated through our Service as legitimate proof of purchase or transaction;
• Present any receipt generated through our Service to any merchant, business, individual, or entity as evidence of an actual purchase or transaction;
• Submit any receipt generated through our Service for tax filing, insurance claims, warranty services, returns, refunds, or any other purpose requiring legitimate transaction documentation;
• Remove, alter, or obscure any watermarks, notices, or disclaimers placed on receipts generated through our Service;
• Attempt to deceive, defraud, or mislead any person or entity by using receipts generated through our Service;
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
• Use the Service to impersonate any person or entity;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems;
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service;
• Engage in any activity that could disable, overburden, or impair the Service;
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, or resell the Service for any purpose; or
• Encourage, assist, or enable any other person to do any of the foregoing.

3.3 Monitoring and Compliance

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor your use of our Service for compliance with these Terms. We may investigate possible violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including suspending or terminating your access to the Service, removing content, and/or reporting violations to relevant authorities.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

4.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, code, databases, user interfaces, visual interfaces, design, compilation, information, data, and documentation, is owned by PaperPlugg or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service, except for the limited license expressly set forth in these Terms.

4.2 License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial, educational use only.

4.3 User Content

Any information, data, or content you input into the Service to generate receipts ("User Content") remains your property. However, by using our Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, and display User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Service.

5. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

5.1 No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PAPERPLUGG EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

5.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PAPERPLUGG, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

5.3 Cap on Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL PAPERPLUGG'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (a) THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO PAPERPLUGG FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR (b) $100 USD.

6. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PaperPlugg, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from:

• Your violation of these Terms or any related policy;
• Your User Content;
• Your use of the Service;
• Your use of any receipts generated through the Service;
• Your violation of any law or regulation;
• Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property, or privacy right; or
• Any claim that your User Content or use of the Service caused damage to a third party.

7. REFUND POLICY

7.1 Eligibility for Refunds

To request a refund, you must provide clear and verifiable proof that our Service is not functioning as intended or described.

7.2 Conditions for Refunds

• Refunds will only be processed if the Service has not been fully utilized (defined as having generated fewer than 5 receipts);
• Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours from the time of purchase;
• You must demonstrate that the Service has failed to meet its promised functionality;
• Refunds will not be issued for any reason related to the intended use of generated receipts;
• Refunds will not be issued if your account has been suspended or terminated for violation of these Terms; and
• Refunds will not be issued if we have reasonable suspicion that the Service has been used or will be used for fraudulent purposes.

7.3 Refund Process

To request a refund, please contact us through our Support page with your full name, the email address associated with your account, date of purchase, reason for the refund request, and description of the issue with the Service.

8. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION

8.1 Termination by PaperPlugg

We may, in our sole discretion, with or without notice, suspend or terminate your access to the Service, your account, and/or these Terms, for any reason, including, but not limited to: your breach of these Terms; your use of the Service in a manner that creates legal liability for PaperPlugg; your use of the Service in a manner that violates any law or regulation; your use of the Service in a manner that we believe is fraudulent, deceptive, or improper.

8.2 Termination by You

You may terminate these Terms at any time by ceasing all use of the Service and deleting your account.

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination of these Terms: your license to use the Service will immediately cease; you will no longer have access to your account or any User Content; all receipts generated through your account may be deleted; we may retain certain information as required by law or as necessary for our legitimate business purposes.

9. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

9.1 Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms, explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9.2 Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9.3 Law Enforcement Cooperation

We may share information with law enforcement or other governmental authorities if we have a good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes; protect the rights, property, or safety of PaperPlugg, our users, or others; detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us through our Support page. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of submission, either party may bring a formal proceeding.

11. MISCELLANEOUS

11.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or additional terms and conditions or policies published by PaperPlugg on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and PaperPlugg concerning the Service.

11.2 Amendments

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
